To me Poe's Final Days was the best article. It really showed alot of detail about Peo's life. It had more "evidance" or details about where he was first seen and last seen. There was details about people seening him before he died. Poe's Final Days explains how he lived his final days.
Poe's Final Days explains that he was firts seen on September 27, at a steamer in Richmond. Peo was on his way to Baltimore. No one knew why he was going or for what. He was seen carring a trunk. His journey was just abotu to begin.
On October 3rd, Peo was seen at Gunners' hall. He was dressed stangely. Did he know that is was congress election day? He was not himself. And he was careful about what he was doing. He was drunk and very suspisious. People stared at him, because of how he was dressed.Poe was not himself. His family had been called to see him.
Poe was known to be abusive when drunk. So he was a danger to all. But was that what killed him? He was taken to the hospital, but they though it was just another case of drunkeness. He was pale and covered in sweat. He was well taken care of at the hospital, he even got his own room.
Poe ended up dieing on October 6th. No one knew the reason. It could have been beacuse he was really drunk, or it could have been rabies. But anything could have been wrong with him. Rumor say rabies, but the truht is not known.
I think he died od drunkeness. He might of had a really strong drink that ended up causing his life. But he did not show is normal abusive trait while drunk. So there can be more than one answer. Maybe he was poisoned. The story goes on and on, but what is the real truth?
