Robby Perez Final exam

Edgar Allan Poe ether died from drinking alcohol or he got bit or scrathed by an animal that had rabbies. I would think he would have probably died from alcohol. because that is a more common thing to die from than rabbies But by reading Poe's Final Days it sounded like he died from a disease he got during the trip back home in the north. though he probably drank to much and got really ill from all the acohol. And then he went out in to the wind and rain and then a rabid animal bit him and he did not know.

I also think he could have died from both alcohol and rabies. because he had the same symtoms of rabies. when drinking alcohol. He could have been drinking and got piosoning from the alcohol the went out and got bit by an animal that had rabies. Having a bite from a rabid animal and piosoning from the alcohol probably mixed and made a reaction and made him act the way he did. He probably the got worse and then he died.

Poe might have had a acohol adiction and drank alot. This addiction probably was inherrited and was past down to him.When the Physician found him and ordered a room for Poe in the tavern .He checked him and he had an high amount of acohol . It was probably so much that it killed him.

If Poe died from Rabies he would have known if he got bit.Becouse it says 24 percent of victems with rabies could recall an approprite history of animal exposure. That says he should have remembered if he encountered an animal with the infection.

Theese are the reasons why i think Edgar Allan Poe died from both Alcohol and rabies . But am not sure though because he could have just died from one of them or the other.
